WELLING had their play off hopes dashed after being held to a 1-1 draw by Newport County with recent signing Martin Carthy ensuring the Wings drew their sixteenth league game.
MARGATE who parted with their manager Chris Kinnear during the week saw Robin Trott take charge at Hampton & Richmond Borough for their Ryman Premier Division game and it was Danny Hockton who netted for the kent side in their 1-0 win.BROMLEY held league leaders Braintree to a 1-1 draw with Nic McDonnell scoring for the kent side while FOLKESTONE were beaten 2-0 at Slough.
 
RAMSGATE are now four points clear at the top of Ryman One after they trounced struggling Newport(IOW) 6-0 at Southwood with Shain Welford(3),Mike Yianni,Stuart Vahid and Ed Vahid netting for the Rams.TONBRIDGE are in fourth place after winning 2-1 at Burgess Hill thanks to goals from Ray Powell and Luke Piscina.DOVER are one place away from the play off places after thumping Tooting & Mitcham 4-0 at Crabble with Anthony Hogg(2),Craig Cloke and Jimmy Dryden on target.ASHFORD eased their relegation fears with a 2-0 win over Bashley, a goal in each half from Joby Thorogood and Kenny Jarrett-Eliott securing the three points.
 
DARTFORD held Southern League East leaders Boreham Wood to a 2-2 draw with goals from Richard Avery and Ryan Hayes.An equalizer from Luke Harvey earned Chatham a 1-1 draw at Stamford while SITTINGBOURNE went down 1-0 at Wivenhoe.
 
BECKENHAM remain to of the Kent League after defeating ERITH 4-0 with the leagues top scorer Paul Vines netting twice and Ohran Stewart and a Wayne Barrett own goal completing the scoring.MAIDSTONE trounced SPORTING BENGAL 9-0 with Leroy Huggins(3),Mo Takaloo(2),Ryan Royston,Lee Sperring,Nathan Paul and a Simon Austin penalty completing the rout.THAMESMEAD and WHITSTABLE fought out a 0-0 draw while goals from Lee Minshull and Louis Smith gave DEAL a 2-1 win over SLADE GREEN who replied through Paul McCarthy.GREENWICH BOROUGH defeated HYTHE 2-1 with Lee Anderson netting the winner.
 

VCD are the winners of this seasons Kent Senior Trophy after they defeated Tunbridge Wells 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw aet.After a goalless first half it was Tunbridge Wells who went ahead after Joe Fuller converted a penalty only for VCD to equalize four minuites later through Danny Penny.With no further goals it was Martin Ford and his VCD side who were the succesful penalty takers and therefore lifting the 2005/6 Kent Senior Trophy.
