An injury hit Gravesend & Northfleet went down
to a 3-0 home defeat to Aldershot in the Nationwide Conference and have slipped
to 13th in the table.After taking the lead with an own goal at Lewes,
play off chasing Welling went down 2-1 in their Conference South clash and to
complete a miserable day they had Lee Gledhill sent off.
Folkestone gained three Ryman Premier Division
points after goals from Kevin Watson(pen).Mark Saunders and Matt Carruthers
earned them a 3-1 win over Walton & Hersham.Bromley held second placed
Fisher to a 0-0 draw while Margate went down 2-1 at home to Heybridge Swifts
with Danny Hockton netting for the Gate.
Ryman Division One leaders Ramsgate went down to a
2-1 defeat at Horsham with captain Warren Schultz netting for the kent
side.Dover kept their play off hopes alive with a 2-0 win at Walton Casuals with
Craig Cloke and Lee Spiller on target.Cray had Jamie Wood and Jamie Kempster to
thank for their 2-1 win over Dulwich Hamlet while a Stuart Playford header gave
Ashford a 1-0 win at Corinthian Casuals.

The Kent Leagues leading scorer Paul Vines netted
the only goal as his side Beckenham won 1-0 at Herne Bay to stay top of the
league.Two goals from Jimmy Strouts earned Maidstone a 2-0 win at Greenwich
Borough.Erith & Belvedere are still in the hunt for promotion after
defeating Hythe 3-1 the goals coming from Anton Innocent,Leon Braithwaite and
Austin Berkley, the losers goal came from Damien Able.A brace from Dean Burns
saw Thamesmead defeat Tunbridge Wells 2-0.VCD were the days biggest winners
after trouncing Slade Green 7-1 with goals from Mark Horan(3),Ashley
Probets,Mark Greatorex,Ricky Bennett and an own goal,the home sides consolation
came from Jason Elliot.Lordswood defeated Whitstable 3-2 with Dave Forster(2)
and Ray Broad scoring while Sam Prett and Steve Marshall replied for the
Oystermen.Deal and Sevenoaks ended 0-0 while Erith came from 2-0 down to win 3-2
at Sporting Bengal.
