| Marc Seager (Player/Manager) Marc joined Whitstable in the January of 2001, when Matt Toms brought him to the club as captain and assistant manager. Like Steve Marshall he was part of the 'Wembley' FA VASE winners Deal Town side, Marc is rightly proud of his achievements in football and is determined to bring that success to Whitstable Town. Seager says: "The chance to become manager has come earlier than I had planned, but to be given the chance to manage the club you have been captain of is fantastic. My brief to the players when I took over was that I wanted them to be as professional as possible, the football club is run in the correct way, we have a good set up behind the scenes and it is up to us, the players and my staff, to act in the most professional way we can. I firmly believe that I can bring success to Whitstable Town." Under Marc as manager, the club had it's best ever season in 2006-07. Whitstable were unbeaten from the opening day of the season until March the following year also winning the Kent Senior Trophy, the Kent League and with it, at last, promotion to the Ryman League for the first time in the the club's history.
