In the Nationwide Conference despite having Brad
Johnson sent off after 50 minuites Gravesend & Northfleet defeated Canvey

gain a point in a 1-1 draw with Harlow.Chatham went down to a 1-0 home defeat to
Stamford.
A 75th minuite free kick from Danny Penney saw VCD
move into the last sixteen of the FA Vase after a 1-0 home win over Broxbourne
Borough.Hythe went out 3-1 at home to Winchester with Richard Sinden netting a
late consolation for the kent side.
In Group A of the Kent League Cup Herne Bay are
through after beating Sporting Bengal 3-0 with Nathan Eastwood(2) and Dave
Masters netting.
The winners of Group B are Lordswood after they
defeated Greenwich Borough 3-2 thanks to Andy Doerr,Andy Forster and Mike
Cunningham.Whitstable finished second after a surprise 2-0 defeat at Erith for
whom Danny Nicholls netted twice.
Tunbridge Wells won 2-0 at Deal in Group C where
neither side could qualify the winners goals came from Dave Hassett and Adrian
Hatcher.
The winners of Group D are Thamesmead and their
last game ended in a 1-1 draw at home to Sevenoaks while a 0-0 draw between
Beckenham and Slade Green saw the home side finish runners up.
