ImageMark Wyver: Kent Football round-up: Only two sides above the Kent League secured three points this saturday.Gravesend & Northfleet went down to a late goal in a 1-0 defeat at Exeter in the Nationwide Conference.A lone Jame Day goal was only consolation as Welling were beaten 3-1 at St Albans in the Conference South.
 
In the Ryman Premier Division at Cheriton Road a goal by Stuart Myall earnt Folkestone a 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon while an Ian Hilaire goal earnt Margate a 1-1 draw at Maldon and despite goals from Nic McDonnell and Ashley Carew visiting Bromley lost 3-2 at Chelmsford.In the First Division the only winners were Ramsgate who beat Burgess Hill 1-0 courtesy of a Shaun Welford goal.Dover earnt a point in a 0-0 draw at Dulwich Hamlet.Ashford took the lead through Mark Banks but were eventually beaten 2-1 at hom to Metropolitan Police.Tonbridge were beaten 1-0 at Fleet and Cray lost 5-2 at home to Lymington & New Milton with John Main netting both goals.
 
In the Dr Martens Eastern Division Dartford were held to a 0-0 home draw by Arlesey while Chatham were beaten 1-0 at home by Waltham Forest and despite goals from Keiron Marsh and James Campbell Sittingbourne went down 4-2 at home to Barton Rovers.
 
In the Kent League a late Nick Hegley goal gave Maidstone a 1-0 win at Erith & Belvedere.Greenwich Borough caused a surprise by beating Thamesmead 4-3 with James Horton(2),Peter Garland and Danny Tipple netting for the lowly winners while Curtis Williams(2) and Scott Saunders scored for the losers.Herne Bay thanks to Dave Masters(2) and Dave Soutan beat Lordswood 3-2 who replied through Mike Cunningham and an own goal.Richard Sinden gave Hythe the lead at home to Slade Green but the visitors hit back to win 2-1 thanks to a Jason Elliot double.A James Short strike gave Sevenoaks a 1-0 win at Sporting Bengal.
 
In the Kent Senior Trophy Beckenham defeated Milton 6-2 and a Steve Marshall treble earnt Whitstable a semi final place with a 3-0 win at home to Cray Valley.Tunbridge Wells drew 3-3 at Erith only to win 4-1 on penalties and another penalty shoot out saw VCD overcome Deal after the two sides had drawn 2-2.
