 Simon Kay Audio: He praises
his depleted reserves side who are still top of the table going into the New
Year, Kay impressed with the lads who came into the squad due to injuries and
players with the first team. They lead by goal difference as they go into the
Xmas break, their next game is not until the second week in January and he says
how impressed he has been with his players, often they have played when less
than fully fit, he rightly praises their commitment to the team. After the
success of last season, gaining promotion from Div 2 to the 1st Div,
Kay and his assistant Peter Budge and other backroom staff have confounded everyone
with the way the team has performed. To be top of the table at Christmas is
great, Kay will be the first to say there is a long way to go until the end of
the season and the league can still be won or lost.
