The Reserves beat Lordswood reserves 2-1 tonight (Tuesday 29th) at the
Belmont, in the Floodlight Trophy. Goals from Andy Constable in the first half
and Darren Budge with as great strike in the second had them 2-0 up with less
than ten minutes to go, the visitors netting with less than ten minutes
remaining. Ex Town player Andy Skinner, (he of the long throw) said after the
game. We deserved our goal near the end, mind we hit the post had two cast iron
chances in the first half and somehow missed both. Lately we seem to need 8 or
9 chances to put one away, it?s been that sort of season for us, and we are
playing well but not getting the results.
