Two goals from
in-form striker Steve Marshall were enough to give Whitstable first strike in
this KOKL group Cup match, beating Erith Town 2-0. One goal in the first and
one in the second took Whitstable?s goal tally to 17 in the last four games. Despite
a much better performance by the visitors in the second 45 minutes, Whitstable
could have easily been more than just the solitary goal in-front, Marshall
missed two great chances when in on goal, as did Arron Knight and Andy
Constable looked on in disbelief after his excellent strike hit the outside of visiting keeper Chris Connelly?s post. Full report to follow.
