In the Ryman League Cup Folkestone went out of the competition after losing 4-2 at Fisher with Paul Jones and Jimmy Dryden netting for the Kent side. Dover and Bromley will play each other in the next round of the Ryman League Cup after both clubs were successful on Tuesday night with Dover beating Leyton 2-0 with goals from Nick Humphrey and Walid Matata while Bromley won the kent derby 3-2 at Margate with Barry Gardener, Gary Drewett (pem) and Sam Wood scoring while for losers Margate former Bromley striker Adolph Amoako scored twice.
Cray were knocked out at Leatherhead 5-3 with Leigh Bremner,Gary Abbott and David Hall netting. In the Kent Senior Cup Ramsgate with goals from David Cory and Shane Suter defeated Thamesmead 2-1 at Southwood with Dean Burns scoring for the Kent Leaguers. Whitstable moved up to fifth in the Kent League after beating Lordswood 3-1 at Belmont Road with Andy Constable(2) and Sam Prett netting for the home side with Andy Doerr scoring for the losers. The local derby ended in a 1-0 win for Slade Green against Erith at the Small Glen with the winning goal coming from the penalty spot converted by Lee Morgan. Thursday night saw the start of the group stages of the Kent League Cup with VCD beating visting Deal 2-1 at Harrow Meadow with goals from Paul Foley and top scorer Lee Coburn with Deal replying through their own top scorer John Utterson.On the transfer front two players have departed Ashford with defenders Marc Cumberbatch joining kent rivals  Dover and Eddie Achoko joining Dulwich Hamlet.
