By road from London and the West - Approach East Kent on the M2
Continue to the end of the motorway at Faversham Proceed onto the A299 Thanet Way. (signposted "Margate" and "Ramsgate") Continue on the A299 for approx 6 miles (passing Seasalter Marshes on your left) Take the Whitstable turn off. Continue until you reach the Long Reach roundabout. (Long Reach) Turn left at the second roundabout (Tesco) Descend Millstrood Hill After passing the cemetary on your right, turn left into Grimshill Road. The entrance to the Belmont ground is on the right.
| By road from Canterbury and the south Approach Whitstable on the A290 continue straight on at the first roundabaout Turn right at the second roundabout (Long Reach) Turn left at the next roundabout (Tesco) Descend Millstrood Hill After passing the cemetary on your right, turn left into Grimshill Road. The entrance to the Belmont ground is on the right.
| By road from Thanet and the east use the A299 and take the Whitstable exit turn right at the first roundabout Turn right at the second roundabout (Long Reach) Turn left at the next roundabout (Tesco) Descend Millstrood Hill After passing the cemetary on your right, turn left into Grimshill Road. The entrance to the Belmont ground is on the right.
| By rail from London - Whitstable is located on the North Kent line. Trains terminate at Margate or Ramsgate but take care...some trains destined for these towns follow a route via Ashford and Canterbury and do not pass Whitstable. The required route is Margate (or Ramsgate) via Chatham.
- Occasionally trains divide at Faversham with half the carriages branching off to Canterbury and Dover. Please ensure you are on the correct half! at other times it may be necessary to change at Faversham.
- On arrival, take the following route;
- On exit from the platform, turm immediately right and cross the footbridge over the railway line.
- Turn into Old Bridge Road
- Follow the road until you meet a mini roundabout
- Turn right into Belmont Road.
- Find the club access road between the cricket ground and the 'Windsor House' tower block.
By rail from Thanet and the East Most London or Faversham-bound trains stop at Whitstable. On arrival the route is the same as that described above from step two. |
