Pictures Per Laleng: On a bumpy pitch in front of a sparse crowd The Reds had acres of space down the flanks which Jack Tanner and Jake Gess exploited to the full.

With the expierience of Mark Munday and Clint Gooding in the middle of the park Town looked a far more relaxed side with the ball being played around well.

The first goal arrived on 31 minutes when Cory curled a superb low shot past home keeper Colin Harris to send the travelling away fans into raptures. Dan Wisker and Gess both blazed over the bar before the interval.

The home side never really threatened McVicker although his handling was impeccable throughout. It was that man Cory who extended the lead midway through the second half and Town always looked comfortable.

With ten minutes to go Casuals were awarded a penalty which they converted to set up a nervous lat few minutes. McVicker saving superbly with two minutes to go.

A morale boosting victory before their tough game at Kingstonian in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
