"We need to play with no fear” says Simon Halsey Whitstable Towns coach: “at the moment all of the players seem to be too worried about making a mistake, we all make mistakes its how we deal with them that makes the  difference. Yes the player’s confidence is low but they know, I know that a couple of good performances and things can turn around just like that. At times you need that little bit of luck, if we hadn’t concede that fluke own goal and it was still 0-0 with 15 minutes to go and the way we had all the possession in the second half there would have only been one winner. As it was we were chasing the game with fifteen minutes to go, they get a second on a breakaway and it’s game over. That’s not trying to gloss over our performance we know that it was not good enough, now we need to put that behind us and move on starting with Tuesday away at Cray.”
