Wayne Barrett: Wayne has left WTFC by mutual consent after speaking to Marc Seager, Whitstable?s manager about his prospects at the club. ?Wayne and I spoke at length, he has been offered a playing/coaching position which he feels has come at the just right time for him in his football career. He knows we are building for the future at Whitstable and I was honest with him regarding fist team selection. Wayne is a really straight bloke and we had a good open discussion and we have parted on good terms and by mutual constant, He particularly asked me to thank everyone at the club for making him feel so welcome in the time he was with us.?
Chairman Tony Rouse added: ?You can see that Wayne is a quality player; I just wish he had joined the club a few years ago, he goes with the best wishes of all connected with the club, we hope he has enjoyed his time with us.?
