Whitstable manager Marc Seager speaking after the FA Cup win over Selsey: “Delighted to be in the next round and very please we kept a clean sheet which is a good stepping stone for next weeks league game against Fleet Town. I was pleased with the support we received on Saturday and keen to carry this result forward. I know that we are not at our best but even so we got the result we wanted. We have Gary Sayer almost back to full fitness; Jack Tanner is only a couple of weeks, maybe less away. Danny Tipple will be back soon and I am very pleased that Rob Thomas came through forty five minutes on Saturday, he needed to come off at half time as his hamstrings tightened up a bit, he should soon be fully fit so its looking like we are getting back to full strength. Clint Gooding who took a knock on Tuesday will be out for a week or two, so at last we are looking so-so on the injuries front.
