Canvey Island 0 Vs Whitstable Town 0: “Delighted with the performance today against a very strong team who will be pushing for promotion back into the Conference come the end of the season. I must say that it’s been a good day all round, the way we have been made welcome has been fantastic the ground is as you would expect for a club of this pedigree, first class. They certainly made us work today, but I thought we matched them, caused them a few problems and defensively we were strong, I tried a few things different today which these type of games are all about. All in all a very enjoyable day and we look forward to meeting up with them again, maybe next year we can return the hospitality. And give them a warm welcome at The Belmont.”
