Thomas finds the net at last.

“It’s taken more like 200 senior games to score my first goal for Town, this might spur me on to go for the golden boot this season. ” Joked Robbie Thomas after scoring in the 89^th minute to start Town’s run of pre-season games off to a winning start. Manager Marc Seager added, ”Let’s not read too much into the result today, the main thing is all the lads came through without any knocks and I was pleased with most of what I saw.” Seager played two different elevens during the match; the first featured a number of new signings. “You could tell the lads in the second half had played more together, but I was impressed with the way the new lads settled. We have another couple of games this week and it will be interesting to see how we do as we get nearer to league action.”
