WHITSTABLE TOWN manager Marc Seager revealed that over 50 players reported back to pre-season training on Tuesday night, writes Stephen McCartney.www.kentishfootball.co.uk However, Nick Bagley, Liam Quinn, Tom Parker and Dave Cory, who have all put pen to paper to stay at Belmont Road, were away on holiday, whilst Sam Denly and Tommy Martin had work commitments.

Hailing the first training session “absolutely fantastic,” Seager, speaking to
www.kentishfootball.co.uk tonight, added: “We had a great turnout, just over 50 people there, that’s with our reserve team and the older ones from the under 18s that’s completed a year.”

But Seager, preparing for the club’s second Ryman League Division One South campaign, believes former Herne Bay striker Danny Lawrence has parted company with the club.

“I assume I’ve lost Dan Lawrence, I don’t know where he’s gone,” said a bemused Seager. see more at However, Nick Bagley, Liam Quinn, Tom Parker and Dave Cory, who have all put pen to paper to stay at Belmont Road, were away on holiday, whilst Sam Denly and Tommy Martin had work commitments. www.kentishfootball.co.uk see more at Kentish Football
