Sam speaking about his first season at Whitstable, enjoying life at the Belmont and his first as a Ryman League player: “It’s probably been my best season, certainly the most injury free and I’ve really enjoyed playing at a higher level.

I have not started in every game, but given the injuries I have had with my knee I think it’s helped. Playing the last few games, as a central defender is a position I always felt I would play in, in the long term I think it will help prolong my playing career.”
