To all those wonderful people who made Connie and myself (Bruce) so welcome at the presentation evening a big thanks to you all.

To say that we were a little surprised is an understatement we were speechless. Not least with the wine, the flowers and the trip on ‘The Orient Express’, which we plan to use to visit Bath in July.

For me to have a trophy named after me makes me very proud, also to be clubman of the year was another honour that left me speechless. We are both still 100 per cent committed to Whitstable town Football club, and would like to thank you all, the committee the managers, and the players. With people like you and the supporters we have Whitstable Town the club rightly deserves success. Up the REDS!
