Ebbsfleet threw away an interval lead as they went down 3-2 at Histon in the Blue Square Premier. John Akinde and Stacy Long were on target for the FA Trophy finalists. Welling moved four points clear of the Blue Square South drope zone after a second half goal from Sam Gargan earned them a 1-0 win at Newport County. Thamesmead moved three points clear at the top of the Kent League after a last minute goal from Harbingi Grant saw them win 1-0 at Tunbridge Wells. VCD kept in the title hunt after goals from Jack Parkinson and a Richard Sinden pemalty saw them win 2-1 at Greenwich Borough who had taken the lead through Ben Yiadom. Hythe take a three goal lead to Herne Bay in the second leg of the Kent League Cup Semi Final after Michael Smissen with a hat-trick and Dave Cook secured a 4-1 win over Jason Lillis's side for whom Rob Lawrence had opened the scoring. Beckenham and Erith have it all to play for in the other Semi Final as they drew 0-0 at Eden Park Avenue |
