Whitstable scored the only goal of the game coming
in the 31st minute after Dave Corey slotted the ball past Selsey’s
keeper. Tommy Martin’s excellent free kick from just outside the area was flighted
across the face of the visitor’s goal with three or four red shirts eager to
score.
Big John Akinde who spent two loan spells with Whitstable
before returning to his club Ebsfleet where he was voted M.O.M in their FA
