Simon Halsey AUDIO: PDF Print E-mail
ImageSimon Halsey AUDIO: ?We switched off, it was a tough physical game but that?s part of football, we just have to cope with that sort of game. This is the sort of result that we will learn from and make sure we are better prepared for this sort of encounter. Sam Mott made a couple of great saves towards the end when we were pushing on to try and get something from the game. As it was, they killed the game off after the second goal, fair play to them it was their game plan and it worked for them today. Another day we will see who comes out on top.?

Only talk when we?re winning! PDF Print E-mail
ImageOnly talk when we?re winning! Sorry guys there are no AUDIO files from the weekend the interviews I did were all lost as there was a problem with my voice recorder. I did not want you to think that just because of the result on Saturday the management and players were not willing to talk. My fault, or should I say let down by the equipment. All back to normal now so should be ok for next week. Marc Seager said after the match: ?We should have buttoned the game up, I was very disappointed at the way we defended after going two goals ahead. If I were a Premiership manager I would no doubt be fined for my thoughts regarding their last goal. So I will keep my thoughts to myself, but you could all see Sam was fouled.? Tony

Mark Lane Audio PDF Print E-mail

ImageMark Lane Audio:....Mark speaking after the Herne Bay game played in appalling weather, both sets of players deserver full credit for the quality of football played. ?Normally you get a game called of with the frost, but we were very lucky today considering that amount of snow, the ref and the players made for a descent game of football. After the festive season I think everyone at the game today wanted to watch a game of football and the fact that it was a local derby added to that. Although I must say it was played in a good sprit and that was sensible from both sets of players, overall although I thought we had the better chances, the result sets the return game up nicely.?
