GAME OFF…Tuesday 6th March...Tonight’s Kent Football League Premier Division match; Sevenoaks Town v. Whitstable Town has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch. With very heavy rain overnight it came as no surprise when after an early morning inspection Sevenoaks called off the game after a referee’s inspection. Please keep an eye on the website as the forecast for the rest of the week is not good which puts Saturday’s (10th March) home league fixture against Faversham in doubt. WTFC (c)

Stuart King stays at Whitstable Town: “I am signing a contract and going nowhere” PDF Print E-mail

Highly rated Whitstable Town striker Stuart King pledged his future to the current Kent League leaders, “I have talked to the manager (Marc Seager) and the chairman and they have told me the club want me to stay, I want to stay and continue to improve so I have decided to sign a contract with Whitstable until the end of the season. Then Marc, the chairman and myself will sit down together and discuss my future at the club, Marc and the football club have shown great faith in me and I want to show them how grateful I am for the way they have treated me.
