The Big Interview? Each week WTFC web site will feature an AUDIO ?big
interview? when we speak to players, managers and other connected with Town
about events at the Belmont both on and off the pitch. Many of you have
remarked how much you enjoy these audio interviews, not least because it?s what
has actually been said, rather than at times an edited version in print due to
the lack of space, and time; in preparing such a piece. We start with WTFC
Reserves manager Simon Kay talking about his Reserve side, the players, their
run of only loosing twice in 29 games, the run stretching back to last season. There will be others as the weeks go by so
watch this space for ?The Big Interview??Tony Rouse: ? WTFC

Town 3 Lordswood 1 KOKL Tuesday 8th
November 2005 Picture: Andy Constable scoere of two goals for Town: ?We had a very dodgy opening five minutes,? said captain
Andy Keir as he walked off the pitch having secured a hard won three points
against one of the leagues top in-form teams. ?Although we settled after the
opening spell I was not happy with the way we were giving the ball away all
over the pitch, fortunately we had a descent spell of possession scored a
couple of goals and at times we played some excellent football.? It could all have been so different, Town keeper Mark
Hickson receiving a yellow card for handball just outside his area with the
game less than five minutes old, Lordswood wasting the chance to test him early
on when they rattled the home side having the best of the opening 10 minute spell. Extra pictures posted....

..?7 up Town...? Sporting Bengal 0 Whitstable Town 7 Kentish Observer Premier League 5th November 2005: Picture: Steve Marshall: If seven was the lucky number for Whitstable then the number
thirteen shirt worn by Sporting keeper Helawz Zaman was definitely the
opposite. Not that he should shoulder
all the blame for his side leaking seven goals against the side, which has
underachieved in the league so far this season, he made some quality saves
along with his defender David Martin who cleared two shots off the line in as
many minutes, without his heroics it could easily have been double figures. It was the Town forwards who banged in the goals for the
visitors, but the game was won by Whitstable?s midfield pairing of
player/manager Marc Seager with Marcos Perona alongside, who dominated the game
from the kick off. At the back, keeper Mark Hickson was largely untroubled in
the first half, playing a fulsome part in keeping a clean sheet and the victory
when he made a couple of great stops, late on in the second. His back four of
Gary Sayer, captain Andy Kier with the ever improving Michael Addcock alongside
and Tom Parker on the other, dealt comfortable with what little threat the home
side mustered.

Town Reserves 3 Erith Town Reserves 1 Kent
League ? Division 1 Reports:
Simon Kay.....Whitstable
Town Reserves showed immense character and belief to win this big game in
Division 1 after going 1-0 down in the opening 5 minutes and storm back to win
3-1. Erith Town came to the Belmont having a 100% record in the league, winning
all four games and looking to take the points from the Divisions runaway
leaders Whitstable Town Reserves who now sit 6 points clear and being unbeaten
in their last 8 games. Erith started very lively, very bright and it knocked
Town back a bit as they really took the game to Town to show they meant
business and wanted to come away with victory.
