Kent League results as Whitstable stay 6 points clear at the top...
Town stay top after weekend off...With just four weeks to go in the Kent Football League Premier Division campaign, the title race took another twist on Saturday as Croydon, second at the start of the day, were beaten at home and Thamesmead Town defeated VCD Athletic to move above Croydon with a better goal difference.

Budge strike wins it for Reserves
Whitstable Town 1 Thamesmead Reserves 0:  Knowing  that  a win would see the victors top of the league at the final whistle a Darren Budge goal in the 15th minute set Town on their way in a match that would see either side top of the table. The downside for Whitstable manager Ian Hossick was losing young keeper Robert French in the first half after he landed badly following a challenge in the area.

Kent league Action This Weekend

by Peter Albin: It's table topping football at the Belmont Road ground this Saturday 31st March. Not for the first team though, as the Whitstable Town Reserves take the stage in a 'six point' game at the top of Division One. The visitors, Thamesmead Town, head the table just one point in front of Town. In short the winners of this one will be top on Saturday evening.

Hythe Town 1 Whitstable Town 1 KPL: Tuesday 27th March 2007:
This was the fourth time these two sides have met this seasons Whitstable began brilliantly, playing some neat passing football. Whitstable’s early season form looked like it was back with a midfield of Alex Hossik, Jimmy Strouts and Marcos Perona playing the ball all over the park. Whitstable Town finally lost their unbeaten Kent League run after a late 1-0
  by Mark Wyver: Whitstable Town finally lost their unbeaten Kent League run after a late 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Greenwich Borough. After the midweek Kent League Cup success at Hythe Town the Oystermen went into the game minus top goalscorer Stuart King who recieved a knee injury during that game.
