Work has started on the D&J Tyres Belmont Pitch to prepare for next season.. Chairman Joe Brownett: “I am pleased to say that we have got of to a flying start with the pitch renovation. We have today taken down all the posts etc and the contractors have been very busy de thatching the pitch, They have been levelling parts of the pitch with 20 tonnes of best quality topsoil. Whitstable Town manager Justin Luchford contacted the web site today to express his delight at James Beecroft signing to play for Town in the Ryman South for the season 2012-13. “This is a massive step forward for the club as Jake can see we are moving forward as a club and his signing will lead the way to show that we really mean to progress from last season.
